Or in attempting to give the *appearance* of being transparent. It shreds what little credibility they have into even tinier pieces. But, are any of us surprised? SDA has been a "me-and-my-friends-and-everyone-else-stay-out" little clubhouse for awhile now. Which is sad, because it didn't always used to be that way. It’s too bad some high-profile bloggers have so little interest in attempting to remain transparent. Or in attempting to give the *appearance* of being transparent.

Given that she has such a large an mostly unreadable website anyway, due to the sheer volume of comments in any given day, it's surprising she bothers to try to shape the comment section beyond just offering her leading headlines and articles. I've discovered that Racialicious.com does this, too. Comical, since they apparently exist to oppose exactly that... In MY culture, Truth has rights.
