A notable game was held in the CFL tonight, not only for its tribute to the late Ron Lancaster, but also for how depressing it must be right now to cheer for Hamilton. I made that mistake this evening, since I had no stake in who won tonight I went with the underdog. They didn’t fail to live up to my poor expectations. In the last minute of the game, Hamilton had the ball deep in Winnipeg territory, and flubbed a snap for the game tying field goal. Final score 25-22 Winnipeg. At least I wasn’t the angry guy yelling, “I want my money back,” which could clearly be heard on TSN; Possibly Marcel Bellefeuille (if he had to pay to get in)?
I then watched something even more depressing, “Camp Rock” [4/10] a mindless movie vehicle to sell soundtrack albums. “Don’t fit in! Stand out! Watch CAMP ROCK…” is the tag line on the website for the movie. Trust me, Disney doesn’t make movies for kids that stand out. Fairy tales are about conformity, no?

Maybe the “I want my money back!” comment was Bob Young who, for some reason, keeps paying these players.
I enjoy an exciting finish as much as the next guy, but cheering for Hamilton is getting a little pointless.

It would have been more exciting had they been required to stop Winnipeg from marching for the go-ahead point(s). I guess as a Roughrider fan I’m subconsciously searching to cheer for a team that has a reasonable shot of losing ;-)
