I just cooked up my first bean harvest the other day, and was quite chuffed with myself. I see you also have dill growing in the background, there. I have some too, and it was very tasty!
I don’t know if there’s a u-pick kind of deal near Regina for strawberries but if there is, you should go out and get some fresh ones for just such a dish.
Actually my mouth is watering now so I think I’m going to get a slice of pre-sleep yummies.
Computer use in general is a risk factor for that Zach. My blog is the least of your worries :-)
I don’t know of a u-pick near here, but there is something on the way to Yorkton, but that’s quite a drive. My girlfriend has a source for strawberries by the bucket full, so odds are good there will be strawberry rhubarb in our near future.
Abandon the fruitcake. Make your own holiday cards.

Our huge rhubarb patch in the back has contributed to many a rhubarb/strawberry crisp.

Yeah dill tried to take over my garden, but I love munching on it or putting it into sandwiches and salads.
I have some rhubarb in the freezer, ready to go for such a berry occasion.
