“Viterra’ist” issues C&D letter to SFL President

The company formerly known as the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool, Viterra, has been locking out its Regina workers for over a week now. Obviously, the Saskatchewan Federation of Labour is taking the side of the GSU who represents the affected employees. Larry Hubich had an image on his blog of the company logo, and the humourless lawyer(s) at Viterra asked him not so nicely to take it off of his blog. Is it really too much to ask that a lawyer have a sense of humour? With so many jokes about them, you’d think being able to turn the other cheek would go along with the profession.

viterraist

Viterra’ist Kevin sounded like he was ready to go after Larry even if the President of the SFL was “unable to comply with [the] demand” to remove the trademark. So if Larry’s computer was broken, or he forgot his Blogspot password he’d be up a creek.

By the way, I wonder how this all ties in with Bush’s war on terraists?
