GFR, that’s a rather unfortunate situation to arrive to. I hope you were able to find another hotel easily? Did Howard Johnson give you a refund on the room?

That Howard Johnson Inn has been half there, so to speak, for at least a couple of years. The company (which clearly doesn’t keep very good track of its hotels, at least at its 800 number customer service) allowed me to book a suite there for work and when I arrived, that’s pretty much how it looked, or maybe slightly less demolished.

I go there once in a while, was just last week.
It’s rained a little this week, but I still need to water the garden, my soil is so poor.

Out in the East, I think we have been getting more rain then the rest of the city…our ground is still wet!

Sometime go to the Milky Way…one of the best things about summer in Regina. :-)

You need to go to Dutch Cycle for a valve adapter. When it comes to cycling, Canadian Tire has the same selection as Wal-Mart.

Any fluorescent light will have mercury in it. Newer ones just have less.

Thanks for the tip about the glue and lights. And no, I did not buy the cheap 9W bulbs, I just looked at them because they were so tiny and mislabeled.
