The surprisingly kind review from a blog with a cartoon of death in the corner:
Abandoned Stuff is why the general population hates blogs: the mundane minutiae of one’s life told so uninterestingly that a wordless post with a photo of one solitary, single piece of toast, slightly buttered, would improve the overall-tone of this thing a thousand-fold.
How about heavily buttered toast, that is on fire? 1000 times better + 1.5?
I give the review two cats in pet foil hats, out of five.

I expected fewer Canadian cliches from a blog with a token Canadian as a member. If the content of my writing is the worst complaint, then I guess the new template isn’t so bad after all. At least I’m competently bland, milquetoast (heavily buttered and sometimes on fire).

Better than buttered toast? Why a buttered toasted bagel, of course!
;)

Speaking of which, that sounds like my lunch.

If you weren’t such a good-ntatured guy, I’d be worried!
That’s a wild blog; I’ve bookmarked it just for fun!

PS, I like the new template.

“Abandoned Stuff is the blog-equivalent of banal-sex, in which the adrenaline-gland is dry-humped by the flaccid cock of mediocrity, and, holy fucking hell, I’ll put that up against anal-sex on the “uncomfortable” scale any goddamn day of the week.”
He nailed it.

Which is why you stopped by Ogre, right? You can’t miss a minute of the banality.

I want in on this action! I can see it now:
“Megan’s blog is like really bad nipple-twisting. I’m slightly turned on, but it’s completely lost in the pain and my horror that it’s actually happening.”

You might as well apply for a review then Megan. The worst they could do is totally destroy your self confidence and willingness to blog, right?

I’m pretty thick-skinned but that sort of stuff makes me sob into my pillow. During the Canadian Blog Awards contest a couple of mean spirited Canuck bloggers stuck the knife in and twisted it real hard, eh? I made some lighthearted comments but didn’t give them a link to add to their Technorati authority. That’ll learn ‘em.

Someone was mean to you Nag?
You’re right about not linking, that’s about the worst someone can do in the blogosphere ;-)

We wouldn’t have it any other way.
