I’ve had some food from my garden already - a radish and beat leaf met with my mouth on Friday. More plants will perish at the hands of my hands and hoe. Weeds have felt the wrath of my push hoe’s blade, and new ones should just not bother coming up. You hear me weeds??? Stay down.

get your hoe going and loosen up the ground between rows…and say this prayer ‘Jesus please make this plant grow’…it works…good luck

You tell ‘em!!!! Those weed b*stards!! I hate the weeds too. And even tho there is a drought [slowly recovering this week tho with rains] the weeds thrived.
My Green Thumb is posted. Scroll down on today’s entry. Hope you can find time to drop in for a visit.

I should take a Green Thumb Photo today. Anyway….thanks for coming around to visit my blog. Our pepper and tomato plants are huge….hopefully they will blossom again (lost that kind of growth to terrible storm).

I weeded inside the rows today by hand, didn’t have my hoe with me. Picked a couple more radishes, and munched on another beat leaf.
Sorry to hear there’s drought and storms out there hurting my readers’ gardens.

My weeds just ignore me and grow faster. :)
Congrats on your burgeoning harvest. Radishes were one of the first veg I grew and the memories of munching on them are still sweet.
