I got my bike wheel replaced (the original was stolen a couple weeks ago) at Dutch Cycle. They sold me a $20 used wheel, with a $2 magnet for my computer/speedometer. That’s better than the $35 estimate I got on Saturday. Except I’ll have to find a pump that can work with a Presta valve.

You can get a small presta-to-schreader (sp?) adaptor for a couple of bucks, that you screw onto your presta valve when you need to pump it (that way you don’t always have to carry your own pump, and your pump will be useful to others…)
The adaptor is about the size of a valve cap. You can even put a schreader valve cap on it, and leave it on your bike (the adaptor protects your valve, the cap protects the adaptor.
