It rained a little yesterday, and looks like more is coming today. I didn't get any seeds in the ground, but at least my balcony looks ready for something to happen. I'll have to probably take some of the finished compost out, and add more browns to it to dry it out more.

I know the feeling about not doing anything wrong. It feels like if you put the seeds in, you're going to get something (other than just weeds).

I'll plant my peppers tomorrow, hope I can get some nice veggies soon. I'm not that good of a gardener but hey, when I see the grass and the tulips growing so well even after a winter of snow, I can't do anything wrong!

I had the dirt and pots fall practically into my lap, and I have seeds sitting around, mostly from shopping, and I already water my indoor plants, so it shouldn't be much of a time sink. Plus, I need some excuse to get away from the computer for 10 minutes every few days. And if something grows - great, and if not - oh well.

Every now and again I think about putting a few pots of this and that out on my (4th floor) balcony to see what may become of them and then think about how much time is involved in small pot balcony gardening, and whether or not I want to invest that time in growing things, or getting out on the road for days at a time --- on the road for days at a time always wins.
