For no particular reason, this post was sitting around in my drafts. I guess it was started long ago and I abandoned it because it sucked. I have no way to fix it, or make it not suck, so I’m posting it anyway so it can add to the delicate fabric of the Internet’s tubes. Perhaps someone will come along one day and write 5 better ways to destroy the World. There may be super villains who read my blog. Who knows unless I ask them to post a comment, right?
- Make poop fall from the sky until people drown in it.
- Read Saskboy’s blog over a big megaphone so everyone who hears it goes crazy or moves to a place without Internet. The world cannot exist without Internet, therefore the world ends and is destroyed. Ipsco Facto.
- Mandatory death sentences for speeders.
- Promote George Bush to the head position of the United Nations.
- Build the first light-speed capable consumer vehicle, and let anyone drive it into the Earth.

No.4 Bush (Snr and Jnr) and the US administration have weakened the UN so much in the past few decades that putting George Bush over there might make an aggregrate improvement in the state of the world. The rest of the world could then bring George W down, and rebuild a new UN with a fully universal charter (e.g. for an international criminal court to which the US would be subordinate).
Let’s hope your plans get picked up ;-)

I have issues with #3. If you think about it the laws of physics dictate that the faster one goes on a motorcycle the harder it is to fall down - I should be required to drive fast for my (not to mention the people I share the road with) own health safety.

If any of these plans get picked up, we’re all doomed, not just speeders or Bush people.

Awesome. When I talk about destroying the world, Google Adsense recommends Jesus Christ, and an appearance by the Lord.

I would say dismantle the UN and replace it with a Council of Democracies. Dictatorships need not apply.
Saskboy | 04-Apr-08 at 10:04 pm | Permalink
The problem with that method is that there’s one less place for non-democracies to learn from democracies. We’ll end up more often at ends of guns, instead of tables.
Louise | 05-Apr-08 at 4:07 am | Permalink
Since when did non-democracies learn from democracies at an international forum where non-democracies dominate? The UN has served to legitimize dictatorships and that’s about all that can be said of that organization.
