This is a fun tool for those who have seen the funny posters.

Earth Hour lead me to Google’s analysis of black Google pages, which apparently save no power over white pages. I haven’t tested it myself, but it would be easy with a Kill-a-Watt electricity use tool.

- My place of work

-McDonalds didn’t shut off more than a few lights and a sign for Earth Hour, but tried to participate more than Subway apparently.

I assume you walked to take the pictures of your place of work and McDonalds/Subway… if you drove, shutting off your lights at home did nothing.. what a waste.

I roared around in a polluting old pickup truck taking pictures with a film camera (for extra polluting potential) while all my lights were on at home with no one there.
It’s all about “balance”. :-)

Hey it turns out the Sean who commented on my Earth Hour post was different from your Sean (I had thought they were the same). My Sean didn’t leave a website but I sent a message to your Sean telling him about my reply. Guess what, he replied back to my “reply to Sean” and made a reply to me on his own blog. I love the domino effect! Still no word from my Sean though.
