Lies and the Day so Far

The high point of my day was a few calls from my parents, and watching QP on CTV interviewing Jim Prentice. The interviewer was a little too biased, but I’d rather that than a “yes man”. He got a few digs in, such as pointing out how it seems the Minister “stayed on message”, and the Conservatives are the party looking to provoke an election ASAP.

I wonder how quickly the Libloggers will take to add up at least $62.5B in Conservative lies. Don’t forget to include the ~$0.8B that Saskatchewan is missing in resource revenues. As the Liberal finance critic pointed out (as did my dad on the phone), who was it that left Jean Chretien with a huge deficit? Hint: It wasn’t only Trudeau. Joe Clark may have been known as “Joe Who?”, but now we’ve moved on to “Brian Who” territory.

If an election’s triggered, I wonder what becomes of the quad-by-elections? Potential waste of money and effort in 3..2..1..general election!
