It’s not a trivial job to manage a fast food restaurant, and if a high school student is doing a good job at it, they’ve learned more skills applicable to the workforce than the average high school student who doesn’t have a job outside of attending classes and doing paper-homework. – I think Fast Food News of the podcast fame, Read More… [...]

Not quite the same angle, but I highly recommend Junkfood Science blog for rational analysis of food and health related issues.

As for the weather...as you know, I don't own or drive gas-powered vehicles. But even I am not crazy enough to ride my bicycle to work in this weather. Until the transit system gets back on track I'm staying home. There's lots of twinkies in the cupboard (just kidding)

I'm just not going to drive anywhere for a week I think :-) Hopefully food will come to me.
Or I can eat through my canned food supply a little. Who needs fruit anyway? Wait, I have canned fruit, huzzah!

--

I'm thinking fruit flavoured. Perhaps meat flavoured. I'm going to be a meat popsicle.

I'll need all the luck I can get. My fingers are crossed for a "snow day" tomorrow :-)
