Saskatchewan Levee New Year’s Day
If you’re looking for some fine snacks and to rub shoulders with the mucky mucks of Regina (including me if I end up going), check out the Levee at Government House on Dewdney Ave. January 1, 2008. Last year the Mayor was serving drinks, and this year the Grey Cup is making an appearance.
Admission is free, and the dress is semi-formal to formal. Come and go is the attendance style.
1:30 - 4:00 PM
A tour of Government House is interesting the first time, and the food is always good if you like wine and cheese affairs.
UPDATE: The Grey Cup didn’t last long. I showed up with Ashley around 3, and it had already departed. The Tex Pistols were playing in the hallway, and some people were dancing.

- CBC’s Sheila Coles was greeting people here before the Mayor, Pat Fiacco.
We visited with Fraser and Nancy. Last year Fraser worked on weather reports for the fellow who motorbiked from Regina to Tuktoyaktuk to raise awareness for autism.
