I think every time the Grey Cup was in the province it made a trip there. It was there the last time Regina hosted the big show. Of course now that the school is closed there is probably not much of a point in taking it out there since there will be no kids around. Earl Grey was apparently named after the Governor (i think he was one?) stopped in town on a train ride and asked what the name of the town was. When the people said it had no name I believe he decreed it to be "Earl Grey". This was in about 1905. Of course an old high school teacher / history shit disturber once dug around a bit and tried to discredit this, but no one knows for sure.
