In case you’ve been living under a rock with your eyes closed, you’ll know that the 2007 Saskatchewan Roughriders became Grey Cup Champions on Sunday. The party for the Western Final was at the airport, but this time don’t go there. You can join the crowd at Taylor Field (Mosaic Stadium) at 3:00 PM for the cold celebration.
CELEBRATE THE RIDERS RETURN FROM GREY CUP
The Saskatchewan Roughriders will return from the Grey Cup in Toronto on Monday afternoon and there will a celebration held at Mosaic Stadium to welcome the Green and White home.
The team will be bused from the Regina Airport tarmac directly onto field level at Mosaic Stadium at approximately 3 pm. Fans are invited to fill the stands for the program which will include an introduction of the team and a short program.
Fans can access the stadium through the West Gates which will open at 2 pm. Everyone is welcome and admission is free.
WHAT: Roughriders return from Grey Cup
WHEN: Monday November 26th – 3 p.m.
WHERE: Mosaic Stadium
Note – Fans are urged not to travel to the Regina Airport as the team will be loading the buses on the tarmac and not be entering the main airport.
Don’t forget your ski pants. It’ll be a cold one, but a day to remember.
- I heard somewhere that there’s a parade on Tuesday planned?

Being a plane ride way, I will be thinking of the celebration.
Have fun, keep warm and take photos to show us.

I am pretty disappointed that it is being held at 3:00pm. I had to let my kids miss school for half a day last monday, as we went to the airport, they are going to school late this am, as we didn’t get home from Albert St until after 11:00pm last night.
I can’t get off work at 3:00pm unfortunately, so will be stuck at home with alot of disappointed kids, watching it on TV.
My aunt and uncle’s flight doesn’t get in until tomorrow and our buddy’s flight doesn’t get in until 7:00pm.
what about all the fans that spent all that money to be there to support our team in person????
This wasn’t thought out at all…there should be something held at night, at the Brant centre even.
a toonie gets you in…and all the money can go to charity or something. Kerry’s Kids or even Christmas charities.
just my disappointed $.02
But I am THRILLED we won the cup!!!
Have more videos from Albert ST…I’ll try to get them on Youtube!!!

I wish it was an hour later, but they don’t want it to get dark, and it’s dependent upon when the plane arrives so people don’t swamp the air port :-)

This is one of the few times in my life (having been born and raised in Saskatoon) that I wish I lived in Regina.

With the windchill…and all the fans that spent ALOT of money to go to TO to support the Riders in person, along with all the children and elderly fans, I really think that the Rider brass should give it a day and then hold a fan rally somewhere indoors…people can pay a loony or toonie or even a foodbank donation and have it at a reasonable time.
Many seasonticket holders work shift work and are unable to get off work at 3:00pm..along with kids are still in school and what about fans that live in the bedroom communities?
I realize they don’t need the airport swamped and agree to that. Load the Riders up on their bus and get them out of there. That’s fine.
The parade walking from Taylor Field to the Leg at noon tomorrow is just ridiculous too.
Can’t accomadate with work…and have to work to be able to afford the 4 season tickets we buy each season…even the last 7 years of drought and NO home playoff games!!! lol
