The mayor of Saskatoon needs a better perspective of what kind of recycling systems Canadians expect from their government. Drop him a line after reading Sean S.’s blog post regarding curb-side recycling in the best city north of Regina.
I sent:
I’d like the Mayor to know that many people in the province think it’s completely irresponsible of him to not expect to implement a curb-side recycling program in Saskatoon.
More thoughts on the issue can be read at Sean’s blog

I had to remove the slashes in the URL because the email form wouldn’t accept it with a link.

To clarify Saskboy, the conclusion that the mayor doesn’t support curbside recycling was mine and did not come directly from his mouth. However, it seemed implied by his response to my question.
Thanks for the link. I will definitely post a follow up after the council meeting next Monday (Nov 5th) when the waste reduction plan is up for vote.
