I’d be in favour of this move, only if there are stiff penalties for police using them in situations where they would not have shot and killed someone to subdue them. Otherwise it’s an invitation to let them be abused like they have been on the campuses of American schools in the last year.

Yeah, cops have been getting a little too liberal in the use of these devices. They need to calm it down a bit.
