I agree we're already semi-privatized. It's not right that dental and eye exams and treatments aren't considered essential medical care.

We already have semi private health care. By that I mean privately owned medicenters and testing clinics that are funded by healthcare. I see nothing wrong with privately held lab and testing facilities. This would take a lot of the demand off of the major hospitals to deal with major health issues, and medicenters and private testing labs and facilities to do the minor stuff.

Perhaps because it shows he's proud of the way our system works, and having operated a business on both sides of the border he can attest to the fact that our system is better (even if it has flaws).

Personally I hope he's open to the idea of a British style healthcare system, or something that offers faster service than what we get now, which anyone can see tends to be unacceptably slow in too many areas.

So why would an average voter looking for better healthcare care that David wrote a peice to American newspapers on healthcare instead of spending time selling his healthcare plan in Sask.

It's not so crazy Cecil. Canadians tend to look for affirmation from outside of their borders. For instance, Brad Wall is popular in part because it's expected he'll make this province more like what Albertans like in a government.

Great! David is running an election in the United States. Almost as bad as when he was door knocking outside of the Weyburn- Big Muddy constituency.
