Right of Center Ice has already written up what I was going to say about the game.

- Gainer with his bicycle
The wind was strong and cold, and using my mom’s camera I’ve discovered that I will be upgrading to an Image Stabilizer Canon camera in the future, instead of sticking with my trusty (and worn out) 3MP Canon camera from 5 years ago.

- Holmes had his first excellent game since returning as a Rider.

- Final play of the game was an interception in our favour

-Kent has a bit of work to do with his team though. We gave up a lot of big plays, but came away on top… this time.

Elsewhere in the CFL, the Bombers almost lost to the last place TiCats in a thriller that came down to Hamilton just not wanting the win badly enough.

:-) I’m sure the fans wanted it. But Hamilton didn’t want it as badly as I wanted to see the Bombers lose to your team.

Thanks for the link Saskboy. I agree with your analysis that we allowed Montreal to make some big plays when we had them against the ropes. Maintaining pressure in the Fourth Quarter is the #1 thing I would be addressing in practice. It’s not something that you CAN practice but it is something that needs to be embodied and carried out if we’re going to go on a run leading up to the playoffs.

Two in a row for the Riders?…
Although the Riders have had a pretty tough go for the last five weeks (1 win, 4 losses for those of us keeping track), I’m still holding onto my optimism for the remainder of the season. If we can win……
