I saw “Evan Almighty” [8/10] after an evening of painting, and was impressed by how funny it was. It had amusing social commentary and didn’t try to be a part of the first movie “Bruce Almighty” [8/10] which I saw years ago. I first saw it in Portland, Oregon in a theater were you can have alcohol served to your table while you watch the movie. In Regina’s Rainbow Cinema, we had nearly the entire place to ourselves for just $4 each. At the end the place had cleared out before we left, so we danced in the aisles for a few seconds to get ourselves laughing. “Everybody dance Now! Dooo, dooo dooo doo dooo!”
