“Who is War Child Canada?
War Child Canada is a registered charity that provides humanitarian assistance to children affected by war and generates awareness, support and action for children’s rights everywhere.”
In a media campaign at least as successful as the organ donor competition stunt performed in Europe, War Child has ignited interest in why we allow children to be trained as soldiers in other countries.

Certainly, the War Child commercials are unsettling. They’re supposed to be.
Personally, I think most of the objections raised at Steve Janke’s blog are much ado about nothing. Even more unsettling, even after it’s been revealled that the commercial was produced mostly through pro bono professional work, some individuals are still complaining about War Child spending money on ads.
Which they’re completely entitled to do, especially to raise awareness of this critical issue.
