Whooee! I seen that one the other day. Good an’ simple explanation, sez I. The troublem we’re gonna have here is the same one they had in BC with the STV referendum. They set the threshold at 60% fer MMP to pass. In BC, a lotta people voted against it because they didn’t know enough about it and chose to vote for the “safe” status quo rather than take a chance on a completely new (not understood) system. Even so, they got close to the 60%.
So far, I ain’t seen much in the “Vote Yes” campaign here in Ontariariario. I talked to a gal the other day who was passin’ out some pro-MMP pamphlets. I sure hope the public gets itself educated enough by October.

Hi JB
We can win if people like yourself will do what it takes in the next 70 days to make sure people you know DO know about the referendum and DO know they should vote for MMP.
It’s your voting system, too, JB.
OWN IT, MAN! :-)

SteveFeller, I been talkin’ up PR fer years. It’s always fun watchin’ their eyes glaze over. I keep on talkin’ it up, though, an’ maybe with the referendum vote, people’ll be a little more inclined to try and understand or give a rat’s ass.
