I know of several bloggers now who compost at home using worms to speed the process along. Weyburn’s Pilotsworld and a LaRonge blogger have been doing it for a while, and I’m looking to get started when I can get my hands on some worms. I already have the bin and some compost for them.
There are great photos and a method described here.

If you do it outside, the worms will find you!
I added clippings from the first lawnmowing to the compost last week. It is cooking itself nicely!

Good tip Miss C. I haven’t checked if any worms have made it into my bin yet, but judging by the small holes off the ground only, and fresh SNOW on the ground this morning, I’d guess they haven’t :-(
I think I’ll hunt some down next month and make them my slaves.
