The SaskParty is kicking butt. They are so far ahead that I don’t see how anybody could catch up. As of this posting:
Nancy Heppner Saskatchewan Party 1123
John Tzupa New Democratic Party 150
Nathan Friesen Saskatchewan Liberal Party 90
Sandra Finley Green Party 19
Nathan Holowaty Saskatchewan Marijuana Party 15
Kurtis D. Hein Saskatchewan Heritage Party 13
Gordon Elias Western Independence Party 6
WOW! If the SKMP can beat the Green Party I will consider that a victory. Go Nathan! WEEEEEE!!!!

Good luck with beating the Greens, I don’t think it’ll happen ;-) But I’m surprised at how far ahead the SaskParty is, and I was hoping the Liberals would turn out a bit more.

I guess we failed it. At least we aren’t in last place.
But talk about your landlide victories. YIKES! Why did we bother with an election at all? Cowabunga.

Many of these parties simply put their names into the by-election to begin showing a presence. Only three of the parties spent the approximately $50,000 maximum.
Not much of a landslide either considering that the winner may be deposed owing to non-residency issues… aparently this candidate didn’t even have the right to run and is now the subject of a court case meant to remove her from the legislature owing to non-residency status.

The blogosphere taught me that the Saskatchewan Heritage Party beat or tied the NDP and Liberals in 8 of the Poll during the election.

Is that related to the Christian Heritage Party?

Thanks for the update Ron. Is that from the Sask Elections site?
