This is quite the building story, I have a feeling. At the pace lawsuits progress, I doubt it will be resolved [barring settlement or withdrawal] before the next provincial election. Currently the Sask. Liberals have no seats in the Legislature, and Karwacki finished in a strong second place, ahead of the NDP candidate in the Weyburn-Big Muddy byelection last year. The finish ahead of the NDP I think indicated both how unlikely NDP victories will be in the next election, and how the Sask. Liberals stand to win back seats, both in urban or rural ridings.

I’m not sure how wise it is to host a “Young Liberals” event at a pub. Input of 18 and under not required?

Odd that the Saskatchewan media largely left the story alone. Lawsuits and politics always seem to gain coverage.
As for the Young Liberals event not being wise to host it at a pub; given its a beer night I think the location is acceptable;)

someone is going to get liquored up and start a fight with him, i’d pay to see the liberal leader in a bar fight for sure.

I’ve been in a cowboy-type bar with Karwacki before, and I just don’t see him as the bar brawlin’ kind of guy. I bet he could kick Brad Wall’s butt though ;-)
