I just find it amazing that all the opposition goes into such a rant, when the likely hood of actually achieving our Kyoto commitment is pretty much nil. We're talking a 34% reduction in five years, it ain't gonna happen, sad to say, no matter what the plan is. 99% of the pro-Kyoto crowd is all for it, until of course they find out they would have no power or vehicles to drive, which is in fact the actual facts of the matter. Sure we need change, and the Cons plan is weak, but it leaves me wondering somewhat if "weak" is better than unattainable.
