YouTube has the clip that left me wanting more of Clinton’s smackdown on the daily “news” media sham that is Fox News.
Why is it that Fox News will ask one politician one thing, and Clinton gets asked another on the same topic? Clinton said what everyone with a brain knows about Fox News’s bias. And the reporter was left squirming knowing his cover was blown because Clinton didn’t play along with the game.
UPDATE: Full transcript.
CJME.com today reported that Rice attempted to defend the Bush administration’s handling of Bin Laden. Then the radio noted that the paper publishing Rice’s comments is also owned by News Corp Fox News.

I watched the video on You Tube shortly after it aired on Fox News. I’m so glad Clinton put the FOX reporter in his place. Jon Stewart also featured this incident on The Daily Show last night.
Gold.

I take it you clowns don’t even have fox news?
Just so you know Mathews asked Rummi the same thing in 2004. You see if you actualy had fox news you would no that mathews is one of the only straight shooters on fox. Trust me clinton looked like an ass if you are unbiased.
I know you love it b/c you hate fox but dude if you actualy watched fox you would no the difference between sunday fox news and lets say the O’reilly factor. Now you say clinton layed a smack down, he did not lay down shit if he had balls he would go to O’reiily and do that. Not lamo mathews.,
And also why do you think clinton agreed to be interview by mathews and not, say o;reilly.
Listen I think you should actualy have and watch a channel before you start critizing it, but hey keep drinking that kool-aid.

Wakeup boys, Chris Wallace conducted himself like a true professional, Clinton is the one that looked like a complete moron, can you imagine an ex president of the U.S. of A. acting like that!!!!!!!!!!! guilty conscience I think.

Clinton disgraced himself and his office again by sticking that same finger in the face of the American people and lying when he said:
“I want you to listen to me. I did not have sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky.”
Now, he wants to blame everyone else for his failure to protect the security of this nation because of his failure to keep his pants on.

As Clinton said, where are the transcripts of them going after Bush? Where are the questions about why they didn’t even discuss Bin Laden for the 8 months + they were in power before Sept 11? Is that ‘fair and balanced’?

You are absolutely right Silverwinger, Clinton is such a compulsive, convincing liar he himself cannot distinguish the difference between fact and fiction.

JDot, “Just so you know Mathews asked Rummi the same thing in 2004.”
Really? Care you provide your source, a transcript would be nice, I’d like to see that and his answer.
“I take it you clowns don’t even have fox news?”
No, and I’m afraid I pity those who subject themselves to paying for it too. I do have YouTube, the Internet, and Daily Show though, which provides transcripts and clips for the Fair & Balanced overblown humour that most people don’t get, and lies Republicans eat up because it’s what they want to hear.
“Trust me clinton looked like an ass if you are unbiased.”
I have a hard time trusting someone who vouches for a reporter with Fox News as a “straight shooter”. Squirmy liar describes Fox News reporters who don’t quit and get real journalism jobs.
“you hate fox but dude if you actualy watched fox you would no the difference between sunday fox news and lets say the O’reilly factor.”
I could watch the Teletubbies and then I’d know the differences between Tinkie Winkie and Dipsy, but it wouldn’t matter because they’d both be lame, pointless entertainment for kids who could be learning to read instead of watching juvenile television.
“And also why do you think clinton agreed to be interview by [Wallace] and not, say o;reilly.”
I’d guess because if he went on the No Spin Factor, he’d get the “Cut his mic” line from O’Idiot before he got his smackdown on the air.
“Listen I think you should actualy have and watch a channel before you start critizing it, but hey keep drinking that kool-aid.”
I think your use of “kool-aid drinker” to describe someone who doesn’t watch and swallow Fox New’s blatant BS, is humourous, and makes me smile as I laugh at your unintentional joke. Overall Fox News may provide a lot of first hand news which is commendable, but at the same time the clips that I see are not staged and are in context. You do realize who owns and runs Fox News, right?

“Chris Wallace conducted himself like a true professional, Clinton is the one that looked like a complete moron, can you imagine an ex president of the U.S. of A. acting like that!!!!!!!!!!! guilty conscience I think.”
You mean acting like he’d been tricked as to the meaning of his interview? It was to provide a sound byte of him saying he didn’t do enough to prevent 9/11, and they got that, along with his assertion that the Bush administration didn’t do any more than he did, and quite possibly did less. You have noticed that Bush didn’t catch Bin Laden, right?
Clinton told you how Wallace wasn’t honourable, and how he was being sleazy by setting a trap pretending to be interviewing him about only another topic. I’d guess that when Bush jumped down Laurer’s throat you cheered.

“Now, he wants to blame everyone else for his failure to protect the security of this nation because of his failure to keep his pants on.”
Excuse me, that doesn’t make sense at all. And did you even watch his response in the video clip? He took responsibility for not killing Bin Laden, he said “I tried and failed.” At that point it’s not “blaming” Bush for not getting him, it’s pointing out the truth, having accepted his part in the failure. He even offered reasons why Bush might be failing, such as his lack of support for the War in Afghanistan, and the release of Richard Clarke.
Todd, you’re right that Fox News isn’t balanced, or fair.
