My MP actually took the time to reply to my email on the airplane carry-on luggage restriction topic. He didn’t respond when I emailed about copyright issues before last election. I’ll have to send those emails again, regarding protection for Digital Restrictions Management.
Thanks for providing me with a copy of your e-mail to federal Transport Minister Lawrence Cannon. I’d appreciate it if you would send me a copy of his reply when you receive it. As a frequent flyer, you have raised some valid concerns, and I thank you for bringing them to my attention.
Regards,
Garry Breitkreuz, M.P.

I’m really interested in reading the Transport Minister’s response, given that I just learned that he sometimes flies secretly on private jets that probably don’t have the same water bottle restrictions as us lower commoners live with.

Hey can you elaborate on your email on protection for Digital Restrictions Management? It’s a subject I’m interested in.

Hi Hishighness,
http://www.abandonedstuff.com/2006/09/25/wmp11no/ is one recently,
and http://www.abandonedstuff.com/2006/05/10/stop-digital-restrictions-management-drm-from-ruining-your-day/ is the letter.
I’d recommend typing DRM into my Search box on my blog’s main page too.
