Buffalo Days 2006 in Regina

I went to Buffalo Days in Regina today with Ashley and Robert.

Terri Clark

We saw Terri Clark, played Sepak Takraw [kick volleyball], and went on 7 rides. The Crazy Mouse made me very dizzy, and the Rainbow was probably the best. Ashley and I seemed to get 2 free rides, since our cards didn’t empty as quickly as our math told us they should. Then I found a $20 on the ground while standing in a line. I almost lost my hat on the circular swing, but went back for it right away and it was sitting there still. The operator picked it up and was about to hand it to me when he asked me my name then looked jokingly into the band. I gave him my name and added, “It’s not in there though :-)”.

I took a couple extra pictures of fellow fair followers, and here are their mug shots. If they read this, they should email me for a better quality image:

The kick volleyball was entertaining. They had a practice court, and I am apparently a natural. I was tempted to get a ball, but instead entered a draw for one. The net is the hardest thing to get set up in a hurry, but it can also be played in a circle like hackysack.

Yesterday I went to a wedding, and they had a chocolate fountain. You put fruit on a stick, and stick it under a flow of melted chocolate - yippie! Yes, I am easily entertained.

Here’s a shot of me enjoying a Staycation in Dog River:
