I’ve seen the fossils of some of these extinct animals, or their close relatives near my hometown. Rhinos used to wander the Saskatchewan plains 13 million years ago, and the remains of their bones litter gravel pits in the south central area of the province. It’s great that Nebraska will have a nationally recognized landmark with a park filled with 3D fossilized animals.
